There is a hive called Lotus who you can recruit but you need to be the 3rd rank or higher of monk I think (should be wandering around the village)

There is another character called morpheus who you can recruit but thats in the quest line so not gonna spoil : )

I have a somewhat complete list of Unique recruits:

-Greg, The Escapist How to recruit:
He is usually being followed by a group of slaves, in order to recruit him i recommend that he is be alone so he triggers the recruit dialogue, if he is followed by someone else they may trigger the dialogue and you wont be able to recruit greg since i think you can only recruit only one guy each time,
NOTE: i dont know if its possible to still recruit Greg while he is still being followed but everytime i tried his friends were the ones who would talk to me.

-Greg's Descendants How to recruit:
After you have succesfully recruited Greg, You must import the game and This NPC will spawn just like greg does (After you import a game Greg or His descendant will spawn with the group of slaves from within the faction HQ), and to recruit its the same process as greg

-Mobbs / How to Recruit:
This one is easy although i think you need to import the game, as he only appeared in my playtrough after multiple imports while trying to recruit Greg. He is basically the martial arts counterpart of Hobbs. I found him after an import near the bar althought he could probably be found patrolling inside the town, He has a white robe. I dont know if you must be Rank 3 with the Monks in order for him to appear, that was the rank i was at when i recruited him.

-Meep / How to Recruit:
This one is the easiest he will spawn in the village and you can talk to him at any time.

-Lotus / How to recruit.
This one is also easy, just get to Rank 3 with the monks and you will be able to recruit him, i found him at the bar but he can also be found patrolling inside the town. He is a southern hive prince wearing a white robe and a pink backpack unique to him.

-Questline Guy:
I think this npc is able to be recruited while completing the quests given to you by the Golden monk, im not sure for i still havent completed beyond the quest where you have to bring a fog head
