As much as I like this skin I couldn't buy it for that reason. I'm sure there's people that will though for that option, if DE permits it.

Wow thanks! If it looks like an overwatch character then it's better than i thought lol.. but i think it's just cause Bright+Vibrant Colors and Pbr Metals are similar to what you see in that game very often.

That being saidDE didn't had any particular problem with making it single color scheme when i asked :)

About overwatch simmilarity i think author of thread talks about Symmetra Oasis, cuz they both have glowing light blue theme with golden/white details

Yes of course :) also people can only compare things with what they know about and i guess it's not a common color scheme so that must be it

I actually like this alternate take on Equinox's duality; with this skin the two look more like brother and sister than opposites.

Very immediate edit: Yes I know that Equinox is female but I always considered Night a "she", Day a "he", and Black/White to be an "it"

I actually don't know many Overwatch characters and I don't know what Symmetra Oasis looks like, the reason I say it looks like an Overwatch character is the cleanness and smoothness of the design, the lack of texture to the flat glossy areas, in my opinion, don't fit in that well with the overall aesthetics of Warframe.
Just like how I don't think it'd fit into a Warhammer 40k game, even as a design for an Eldar or Tau suit of armour, even for a new species it wouldn't fit into the universe.
It would however fit in well with Overwatch's cleaner, more cartoony aesthetic.

There's zero flat glossy areas on this character, any of them, you can see them clearly in the 3d model view. You can also see each texture separated if you wish, you don't have to take my word on it, it's all there :) I will also suggest you to go and take a look at the original Equinox model since that one is pretty much all flat and smooth areas and way less details than i've got going on in here, especially on the day version. Let me know :)

Some people are under the delusion that Overwatch is 100% original. I mean no way did the studio and their art team take inspiration from other games right? And obviously it would fit within the Warframe aesthetic because the graphical fidelity engine will render the skin differently than shown in this picture. Just like the Diva skin for Octavia.

I agree with BladeZerker, it's almost stupid how they act like that because often times I could say it had the same color scheme as another game's character and be like, "Wow thats a copy because this game had the same color scheme! Blasphemy!" But that's ridiculous, especially with this color scheme and golden accents is common in a lot of games simply because it's a beautiful combination of colors. I believe this is an amazing looking skin regardless of what they think, your creativity is a beautiful spectrum that lightens my day.
