Possibly. but the name is so similar that it might be an issue. Calling it night hunter might be a copywright complaint waiting to happen

There is a sub class in destiny 2 which is called "nightstalker" which if you might have guessed is not just similar but is the exact same as from dota 2. So, no copyrights has been infringed with night hunter.

You all are misunderstanding me here. Im not saying the author deserves a strike. Im warning him that it could possibly happen for reasons that I would prefer not to say because valve can be overly sensitive sometimes

You can't copyright the name nightstalker, considering it's been used in countless other films/games before dota. Also this skin really doesn't bare much resemblance to the dota character other than the fact that they both have wings...

Valve has punished people much more for much less. That and there is a lot of resemblence.

Thats not how copyright works. If its the same thing copied exactly then they can sue. But this isn't.
