I tested it using the newest GE-Proton and the 64 bit version of GMod, I'll try some other configurations and see if that makes any difference
Ps. The error code is still the same, "No output data for Entity [601][jazz_hub_selector] (JazzForward_OnMapDownloaded)"
Where is your Steam directory installed, and is your GMod in an alternate directory compared to it?
There's a bit more discussion about it on Github. [github.com]
I have 2 places I usually store my steam games at, those being my root, standard folder and a "Games" folder on my second drive (that steam should have full access of). I have tried running GMod on both, but nothing changed (I did assume it maybe just wasn't reaching the mods, but considering it does install the files...idk)
I'm agreeing with the idea that it's an issue with GMod's implementation of mountGMA on Linux. The negligible time would seem to be because mountGMA is bailing out immediately.
Part of my test was that I tried loading up the same addon SkullDollar reported, and then later reran it while intentionally breaking the filepath on my system. The successful mount took about 100 x longer than the bad path mount attempt for me.
