[SPOILERS] Endgame #2 Bug?
So I played through the majority of the game like normal, completed most of the fetch quests for the cats, and played through the normal ending (Where you trip the fuck out in the trolley). I then restarted like it offered me, and noticed the mysterious gravestone At the end of the building where the cats meditated. It shows that I need to collect 10 dark shards. So I proceed to do so, and come back to the gravestone. I Press the button, but nothing happens. From there it was a bit of a blur, I don't know if the cats were in the bar after I returned from the map, and I had no incentive to pull the prop cashout lever. One of the devs told me that I should try 'changelevel jazz_outro2' to force the cutscene to play, and so it did. The only issue was that I needed to complete ALL the fetch quests for the cats in order to further progress in this ending. When I tried the changemap, I went along and did all the quests beforehand since I was finding less and less to do. Is there something missing here?

I'm having this problem too. I did all of the quests, collected 10 dark shards, and nothing happens when I press the button.

When this happened to me (all 10 shards, grave button does nothing), I used the TV to pick a map and used the Trolley to visit it. Upon using the Trolley within that map to return, it took me to the outro2 map instead of the bar map, allowing me to get the ending.

(When you initially spawn in outro2, it looks almost identical to the bar, albeit empty - proceed to the cash 4 props area and pull the lever. Should be pretty obvious at that point if you're on the right map or not.)

Didn't work :c No matter how many times I use the trolley to visit a map and return to the bar, I still return to the regular bar with the exclamation point over the grave.

Edit: Okay so after the sixth try, a dark shard appeared on the map. I pressed the button and returned to the bar and the ending FINALLY worked.

Edit 2: Spoke too soon. It told me to try again after doing all of the cats' side quests. Problem is, I DID do all of them. Augh, this is frustrating.

This discussion went dead almost 4 months ago. That, and the mod is fairly old. Almost half a year, to 1.

It's annoying when you except these comments to be something from a question you asked or someone could be replying to something you said, only for it to be someone digging a thread out of the deep.
