And besides, it's not useless, it allows for viewing pathways that a sniper can watch from afar and not even in the area. So you can essentially perform an enemy "spectate" in a legitimate manner and it's limited in vision to where you shot the camera :P Therefore, not really bad in truth. However, these cameras should NOT last forever, because that's broken...
And in a competitive setting, and damage potential versus good understanding of a firefight and enemy setups really are important, however this forces the sniper to play a role very similar to a spy in terms of espionage in a competitive role. Spies truly don't last more than say a few seconds pulling a Dead Ringer and a few aimmed shots at a Spy, even when Dead Ringing, right after a backstab on ANYTHING. Plus, more serious games focus emphasis on actual enemy movement and teamwork. With my stats, this makes the sniper lose an immediate headshot/assassination role, but with these stats, the planted cameras act as charges that individually can be detonated for effective damage potential, while acting as a decent form of reconnaissance. A priming time should be added to not make detonations instant. And besides, they managed to get the Hitman's Heatmaker in the game, plus, can we never forget the blessed Sydney Sleeper. These stats are for a SUPPORT ROLE SNIPER, just like the Sydney Sleeper. And who said those charges from the camera bullets wouldn't hurt, I didn't say they did NO DAMAGE. I swear, do people even read the stats... it isn't only cameras you know.
It also reminds me of Uncle Dane's (Youtuber / Engie Main) idea of a support gun that works as a tracker on enemies.
Sorry to say, but I kind of agree with @Lenpa. But I think the weapon will be slightly bad for a different reason. Please do not rage at me, hear me out. The weapon can be usable, but only with smart snipers.
1) the weapon is a little too confusing. I mean come on, five cameras, that would mean keeping track of 6 images.
2) leaves the sniper too vulnerable. The sniper, while looking though the camera, is completely unaware of his surroundings, he is at too much mercy of spies. Sure, there is the Razorback, but it takes time for the sniper to switch back to his main view (non camera view).
3) Check out Karma Charger's stats, they seem pretty decent.
Please hear me out, K?
In a competitive setting, there are only 6 players, they have better choices than a support sniper that cant headshot, trust me
