Idea
Instead of doing more or less damage why not make it abit like the homewrecker and it can remove sappers, Its pliers make it do anything with sentrys its not in the game yet the ideas are endless.

but is it really the spys job to manage his teams buildings? and what would the downsides to this weapon be?

More or less damage with a knife would be rather dumb.
No Spy worth his hats butterknifes,and backstabs SHOULD be insta-kills,considering that spy-checking is so often you'll be shot on sight.
A backstab is hard to land against a team that isn't filled with dumbasses.

mabey the knife can damage the engineers machines but you have to back stap someone first then get to the engineer and this knife makes you faster give you 10% more health and the engie machines get hit by your knife the machines damage and die faster

That's exactly what I thought. It would be very good against enemy spies, even if the Engineer isn't there.
