Swiss Stabber ideas
They're obviously pliers, so what Im thinking is that it does more damage to a sentry gun compared to a normal knife, it sounds stupid but you never know when you need to extra damage when sapping a sentry gun.

Multitools are frequently shown in spy movies as a medium for disarming bombs, disrupting machinery and creating tools, perhaps this weapon should be more of a tool rather than a stabbing instrument?

Possible Type #1:

+Doubles sapper's speed for 8 seconds after a backstab
-User loses knife after a backstab (Knife could be regenerated through a meter)

Possible Type #2:

+User cloaks for a few seconds after a backstab (Cloak energy is not consumed)
-User loses knife after a backstab (Knife could be regenerated through a meter)

Possible Type #3:

+Increases maximum cloak time (Effects could stack like the eyelander)
-User loses knife after a backstab (Knife could be regenerated through a meter)

Hey, that's a nice idea you have on Type #1.

I would make it so that he Spy has a cooldown on backstabs, though - how about 5 seconds of "recharge" between backstabs?

With the weapond in hand you right click the sentry gun to disable it for 3secounds.Cassing the sentry gun to take 2x the normal damage.

+ Destroys sappers (enemy sappers and your, so you can pretend youre the engineer)
+ Faster sapper destroyer when you are near the building you're sapping.
- 8 sec between backstabs
- 50% dmg to players alternative to those above: no backstab from behind, only from the sides or only the left so it is like stopping the blood to the brain
= optional can pretend hitting if disguised as an engineer

this sounds great the spy needs a knife for taking out sentries

A spy without backstabs feels like a pyro without a flamethrower... Goign with hitting the enemy sentry, the only way to uncloak (Thinking of a reason why you would lol) would be from shooting your revolver.
I'm also thinking increased sapper power with each backstab

+100% Damage vs Buildings
+100% Damage vs Enemy and Friendly Sappers
+Do not lose disguise when you attack a Sapper while disguised as an Engineer
+Increased Sapper power with each removed Sapper or destroyed building
+10% Sapper Damage
-Disables Backstab
-Lose disguise when placing sappers
-50% Damage vs Player
+35% damage to players
-45% swing recovery
