This guy Turks. I didn't ally with Nicaea but fought Trebizond and Georgia (Georgia is quite strong early) until the Mongolians carved through the Georgians. Once I repelled the Mongolians I turned West and took what was left of Nicaea, and then moved on the Latin Empire. They were quite strong at that point, but I managed to take and hold Constantinople early in the war and they never recovered. I sent an army into Thrace and liberated the Bulgarians who went on to take a few of their territories.
Does this apply to the Abbasid faction and their Ghulam units?
