Is the mod ready to play yet?
Been following this mod for some time now and was wondering if it’s worth playing or is the development still to early to play it comfortably yet?

I've been playing Angevin dynasty for quite some time now and I can say yes to that.

Careful what you ask for or you'll get spammed.

I doubt it will, this game is hard coded, it's already been 5 years in the making i think and it's gonna be another 5 years to complete it, I've even grown a beard from all this waiting. Who knows this game might turn out to be one of the greatest.

I've played a few campaigns now and would say it's worth playing. There are a lot of fleshed out factions and rosters, though I'd like to see some AOR and mercenary options. Most factions have unique tech trees and building options so there's a lot of flavor to it imo.

Exactly. And for the time being why didn't they just keep the vanilla game ships? Sure they're a bit old for medieval, but some of them have sails so not bad and galleys were used for a very long time anyway.

Yes you can play it. But as is it is just a reskin with some scripts. Not having Mercs and Ships at this point is IMHO dumb. They could have had just some basic mercs and ships from the start.

the unit balance is far from complete. lots of units that are available from the same building tiers that are only superficially different. That's a huge deal breaker for me. Also, no ships(

Depends on what you expect from a Total Conversion mod, if you want to play a short Medieval Total War campaign with Attila features or a few battles with different cultured medieval armies, you will have fun for some hours. As others have pointed out it still lacking a lot of features tho.
