All Citizens are Real
I didn't see this asked any place, so, sorry if repeated.

2 Questions,

First:

With the option: "All Citizens are Real" selected, does this:
A. Only apply to residents, and tourists are tracked different
or
B. All entities, Residents and Tourists, are counted to the 65535 cap.

Second:

Is this a hard cap? i.e. Once I get 65535 residents, no one else will move in, OR only the 65535 residnes already being tracked will count, the rest will behave like vanilla?

As an after thought....

Would it be possible to unlock the last achevement if 65535 is reached to get the international airport? (yea, I could do it seporately, but hey! :) ) Since the 75,000 count can't be reached if it is indeed a hard cap.

Thanks.

Don't confuse the simulated citizens count and total citizens count. You can have 1,000,000 total citizens in your city while only 65,535 of them will be simulated. This is a game restriction. Basically, you can see on the streets at maximum those 65k people (including tourists). That's it.

But you should know that 65k simulated citizens is a real workload for your CPU and graphics adapter. Core i7 and and SLI/Crossfire recommended.

I would also recommend a RYZEN 7 CPU, This game literally eats up any amount of cores it can see. I orignally had an i5 cpu clocked @ 4ghz and switched over to the Ryzen 7 and the simulation speed was night and day compared to the i5.

I'd like to know what the "Citizens Simulation Mode" setting does as well. Does it affect the modded behaviour of citizens, or are there simply less of them? If I have, for example, 50,000 citizens, what's the impact of having this setting turned on (or off)?

Does the game render and simulate 50,000 citizens (including the impact on traffic) with this setting turned on? What about turned off? It's not clear.
