Ports seem really OP. You can rush there and get 10x the economy everyone else has.

Well, as to my expierience, rushing port is way less effective than rushing relic islands at early game. Of cource, in late game getting control of the land and ports is crucial, but you can easily build a decent navy without capturing a port

I think the bombard cannons at ports are too powerfull. They can wipe all your troops if they stay still for only 1 sec.

They are designed to be challenging. Anyway, you can take any port by landing with 4 ships in a row

Played the map in both single player and multiplayer.
Overall I really like the concept and can see a ton of work has gone into this.

A few thoughts on the map:
Maybe limit the amount a player can have, not sure how that can be done. But in the late game there just isnt enough water to move around 100+ ships.

Maybe just make 1 black market and 1 standard market? So you can spread out the other island and have a bit more sailable water. Or even more content islands.

I think we need some more ways to boost the defence of our home island. Maybe be able to build extra towers and/or bombard towers in certain spots. The map is so big that if someone turns up with 20+ ships at my base when I am landing on some island somewere they can usually destroy all buildings before I have a chance to get back.

If you land on multiple ports on the same big island it is really hard to board back all ships. Maybe make it so that land units cant walk from one port to another. Block the train of?

Anyways thanks a ton for a fun map!

I`m actually thinking about the option to buy some extra bombard cannons for your base at the shop. They showed themselves pretty well against the ships guarding neutral docks, so I think I`ll do this when I`ll be having some free time.

Well, I`ve made two black markets due to the balance, I really dont like if one player will be able to block others from reaching the market. The other reason is that I designed this map for 3 players first, and there was only one standart maket.

Well, landing on the big islands always were kind of a problem. I dont want to set borders for player or anything else, of cource this can be improves but scripting will take ages. At lease its playable now, and I`m glad for this

I also had found a way to balance civs, but this will take much time too :D Hope I`ll be in the mood one day
