Namely, Valve no longer distribute the individual .scene files which control how these taunts and animations are mixed together etc (the compiled scenes.image is distributed, as that's all the game needs to run the scenes). You can view the version history on the project page to see the changes made and how they affected the game, and you can still view the scripts in tf/scripts/talker/ to see how it's all hooked together, however it would now be virtually impossible to recreate this mod as I originally uploaded it, as I can't edit the .scene files any more. I am unsure if the Source Film Maker's TF2 contains the .scene files needed, however I wouldn't really be interested unless I had tonnes of time to spare (which I don't).
The important goal of the mod was to get the ball rolling by getting Valve to implement response changes by themselves; it was a success. This particular upload was done back when the Workshop was brand new, and people were dying for an update to TF2's responses again. (Previous versions of this were accepted via TF2's old "Contribute" system, check the project's "releases" page).
The mod was originally made during, well I guess you could call it a dark time of TF2's history, where gameplay and lore were secondary to cosmetics. Valve are doing a fine job with fixing and implementing new responses at the moment, so this upload and the mod itself is redundant now. It has been preserved for historical and educational reasons.
Hope that clears things up.
I tried creating a server and tried every taunt, but it didnt work, i also tried running a training server, but the only thing that appeard was the voice lines, do you have any tips how to make it work? I've created a folder and put the stuff in it, on my Custom folder.
