what items are you talking about ? I can get your point about ppl getting overpowered too quickly on high populated pvp servers. And i already thought about to split the mod into pure building parts and another mod with the other parts like altars and stuff. But i want too "finish" this mod first too see what makes sense and whats not :) I'm building up this mod based on feedback and my own game progress experience.
Short version = When there is enough feedback collected and i'm ok with the balancing etc. There will be a split up coming maybe ;)
My thought process is that the overpowerment on servers would be effected if all of a sudden the character strength building components such as the wheels of pain for instance were so cheap then people could quickly build multiple ones and within a day or two have a full army of thralls and be completely unstoppable to the average player. Also with making items like that cheaper they give more xp when crafted than the basic structure building components so people would have the ability to use them as a sort of fast leveling work around.
I see you did split the mod as i saw the other one posted today and I want to say thank you for that. As a server admin I really do appreciate it when mod makers take into consideration things that the community suggests or asks for. I honestly wish I knew how to make mods then I would probably make a bunch of my own but unfortunatly I don't have the slightest idea of how to even get started making them.
I'll move the palisades over to the other mod as soon as funcom gave me an answer about my cooking errors on this mod i'm receiving all of a sudden. Hang tight people this cannot be a big deal hopefully
