Variant Editor Crash

So, I've been poking around the variant editor as I am wont to do- since I enjoy just tweaking units for my own personal enjoyment- when I realized that the entire variant editor crashes when I attempt to add Egyptian shields. Is anyone else getting a similar problem or is it just me?
