It gives you a Dr. Eggman feel, and plus you feel like a god, hovering over you're enemies as you shoot em with you're shotgun or wrangle them with you're level 3 sentry! And if you kinda wonder and think about the hitbox, the hitbox would be the hover pad, so then it would be like you hitting his hover pad and it exploding and he falls off and ded, just imagine the wonders of this taunt!
