P.S.: and having that little lockable mana is a pain in the a**.. means to have a decent number of workers OR a few traps.
- you can always pick up and drop tool boxes from Foundry directly onto any defences (that's what I always do if I need to build 5 SV within seconds, just don't let Workers to take boxes from Foundry).
- there's also a spell that can repair or build defences by putting a "magical" tool box on a trap/door.
- I recommend to put at least two Storm Vortexes at every breach that enemy is made and more + 1-2 freezing trap at most important to you breaches (or just where enemy tends to drop it's minions).
- researching sins increases your mana pool - make as much sins as you can, as soon as possible.
Anyway I usually spam as much SVs in any game as possible, building them closer and closer to the enemy's dungeon core, theyre are totally OP wrecking ball in this game.
