Full Automated Construction not proccessing on colonies
I'd like to start by saying that this is a great mod, automated construction worked flawlessly for my capital planet. However, I'm having an issue with colonies. Nothing is being built on them at all! Not sure if I am doing something wrong or if this is a bug. Here are some facts:

  • Playing as Determined Exterminator machine empire
  • Full Automated Construction "edict" is enabled
  • Automated construction for home world worked properly, and is fully upgraded and built
  • Global Automation Focus is set to "Same as AI"
  • Tried changing the construction budget and let several months pass, when I disabled Automated Construction it refunded around 2k minerals
  • No conflicting mods as far as I am aware (Tiny Outliner, UI Overhaul 1080p Plus, Tolkien names for Stellaris)

Let me know if you need more info or the savefile or something!

PS question: does the automated construction AI overhaul also apply to AI empires? I know the edict says it does not but I am not sure whether that applies to the disabling or to the overhauled AI in general.

Additionally: it seems like the amount of stored minerals is set to 2k whenever you enable automated construction, regardless of actual minerals set aside. I can enable/disable automated construction and it will give me 2k minerals each time.

I saw the AI building an energy nexus on research tile while there was a free slot for it

I think this might have started happening for the AI in my game, I look around and the AI has random near-empty (building wise) but almost fully populated planets.

This is happening to the AI in my game, they wont expand or build what so ever. I played for like three hours before I realized all the other empires were still in their starting systems

In my game it filled up about half the tiles on my colonies and then just stopped. It's accumulated thousands of minerals in reserve but nothing is upgrading or building.

Same here. It just doesn't build even in my homeworld (Full Automated Construction edict is enabled, Global Automation Focus is set to "Same as AI"). Lots of minerals in the reserve (more than 10K), enough energy. I'm using Enhanced AI and Compatible AI (which are declared compatible) but no other mods that might affect construction (to my knowledge).

I've got full build enabled, and it's populating my colonies with buildings, but refuses to upgrade till really late in the game. Trying an ultra wide build and it's working ok with basic buildings, but with 100k mins in storage it's not doing anything, set to same as AI. Using Enhanced AI. also a number of other mods that would make a compat patcher cry.

Think i figured out my problem, just found out that it waits to upgrade till all tiles are filled, dispite refusing to place inapropriate buildings on tiles with exotic resources ("Alien Pets""Betharian Stone" and the like). The problem is that these tiles can't get the buildings specified for them without upgrading the shipshelter to a proper administration. This seems to cause a full stop in the script, untill something else can be built.
