Something is wrong with the Splinter Wraiths
Every single one I encounter is Elite, has the Shocking modifier, and has an absurd number of hitpoints (more than 300,000 at level 40). It takes multiple solid minutes of doing nothing but wail on one before it dies. I just can't beat that, not when there's five of them and no map geometry to get them stuck on.

lol, i'm just a casual player running a slightly OP paladin through normal.
suddenly i meet ~20 Elite splinter wraiths and if it weren't for my buil'ds heavy focus on health steal, regen, symbiosis, armour of protection, draw armour and consecration, with giant health potions thrown in, i'd be toast.
it's not for lack of effort either. i have a kingdom key d and some decent offensive power, but these guys are just sponges with 65-85K health.
i guess it's fun?

edit: yeah. i think every werewolf in the blightbogs has been replaced with an elite splinter wraith. i think my run might be properly buggered.
just the prospect of the sawmill is firing my rage-quit circuits
