They have held several independence referendums and all the way back into the Ottoman Empire fought for their independence. Independence movements often makes the participants do illegal acts. Looking at Catalonia for instance, which is forbidden by Spanish law to declare independence, but they are still declaring it. Thank you for enlightening me about the Kurdistani situation!

I think Kurdistan should be independent ingame so I can use mustard gas on them when I play as Iraq.

I understand that Kurdistan has become a kind of "meme" for this mod. Although at times it can be funny, I understand sometimes it can go a bit too far. Please do indeed joke as much as you want about it (it makes me smile sometimes), but we must all see that he was only joking. I do not too much enjoy comments like that in the complaints-discussion. Although I made a Discord server which can be used more for this kind of behaviour (as long as it doesnt directly insult anyone!). Check the main page for invites.

I suggest you give Kurdistan cores on all Turkish territory.
It's all stolen land anyway.

You guys are all fighting over Kurdistan, I'm here to complain about them too but only because all of that Northern Kurdish territory should really be Armenian and I doubt anyone can question that the territory is historic Armenian Lands, the Kurds only recently went there, they mostly lived in West Persia and North East Iraq until maybe 120 years ago when they began moving due to conflicts everywhere.

The ethnic group is still there, and I doubt they are gonna leave anytime soon. Therefore I still think it should be core by Kurdistan. I'm not too keen onto adding cores in this mod from already-existent countries, as this might cause alot of wars. Thank you for your suggestion/complaint.

Let me make it slightly more clear on my position (since my previous post was deleted ofc).

If Kurdistan doesn't get to be an independant nation because "It doesn't exist" according to the Turks, then no currently non-existing country gets to exist. This includes but is not limited to:

-Quebec
-California
-The Confederate States of America
-Catalonia
-Sardinia
-Bavaria
-East Turkistan
-Tibet
-etc.

The list could go on for days. The mod maker has decided however to implement these currently non-existing countries out of his own creative choice. If you do not wish to use the mod because of one country existing, then the door is right there. Because I personally do not want this mod to be hypocritical of who/what it adds because one group of nationalist Turks believe a group of human beings do not deserve their own state.

Good job on the mod it looks like fun! But the fact that there is no Isle Of Man releasable country really russels my jimmes!

Isle of man is currently a part of a larger part of England. I'll look into it once I begin creating custom states! Thanks for your suggestion/complaint!

I believe Belarus shouldn't own the state Białystok. Belarus' borders today don't include it and looking at Polish ethnic data from the interwar period, Belarussians were only a small minority in the region. IDK why i care but the bigger Poland is, the better for me.
