This is correct. Multiplayer isn't supported right now, but we plan to fix this in the future.

Any ETA on the multiplayer though? Some friends of mine are interested in hosting a campaign with this mod.

Just start a Singleplayer, let it run for 5 days. Save it and then Host it in multiplayer its stable im palying it with a friend and we're in the year 2868
