Crashing on start
So whenever I load up, right before it gets to the screen with singleplayer and all that, it crashes. Any idea what to do about this?

Same here, only mod doing this, crashes while it says loading graphics

Dont use the mongol and chinese submods! they cause the ctd!

You also might not have a Portrait DLC while running submod requiring it?

When you run a sub mod with out the DLC enabled it will still load correctly. however the assets will be missing when playing the game. So you get floating hats.
try going into your mod folder and deleting / moving everything out of it & let it redownload everything, that's what worked for me.

Hear that the devs know of the CTDs with the new CK2 patch. Hopefully that means a hotfix is coming soon

I found a solution that worked for me. Go into your documents and delete all of the After the End files you can find, and just wait for it to reinstall, then you're good.

I had the same issue here.

but I SOLVED IT, Heres my solution:

1. Right click on your ck2 game and go to properties.

2.After that you go to BETAS TAB and downgrade your game to 3.1.0 (since the mod's description says that it supports to that version).

3.Then wait for the quick downgrade download

and there you go!
