It works right for me. I can try to fix it, but I have no way to know the specs of everyone's computer nor the exact setup they have. I am sorry that people are having issues. My mod is a total conversion, so I want people to follow these steps.

First 1. unsubscribe, then 2. go to steam/workshop/394360 and delete the folder 1322828183. Make sure before you delete it that it is my mod. It is called "Victoria_2_Start" in the folder.

Then, 3. go to Documents/Paraodx Interactive/ and delete the Hearts of Iron IV folder, back up saves from other mods if you want, but delete my mod's saves. 4. Right click the shortcut for HOI4 in your steam library and verify intergrity of game files. Restart your computer, resubscribe and make sure my mod shows up in the launcher. Start a new game with my mod selected. Then see if you still have a problem. If no, great! If, yes...

Then, repeat steps numbered 1 through 4. Delete and reinstall HOI4, and back up your clean install in case you need to reinstall the game again. Restart your computer, resubscribe and make sure the mod shows up in the launcher. Start a new game and everything should work.

Thank you for your understanding. It can be hard to get a total conversion to work right, but it is hard to code too. So, I thank you again for your patience with me while I sort this all out.

I think the map problems are caused by a problem with the file ugc_1322828183, please search for this file on your computer open it with notepad or notepad++ and make sure this is in there:

Strange, still, it might be good to get the moddb version and see if it works better. I really thought I had this pinned down because I was able to recreate the problem on my end, but only if I messed up the ugc file.
