In certain dialogue encounters, if you are meant to start fighting straight away there is a command you can add to dialogue to make the enemy participants aware of your presence and go to fight you straight away... type it as the last thing in the dialogue, or before the say 1 blah blah blah thingy:
send_level_message "make_participants_aware"
