Additional Mod Information and FAQ
Mod Information

ONLY SERVER ADMINS CAN ACCESS SETTINGS

Use the command:
admincheat scriptcommand simplespawners

That command will open up the Simple Spawners Menu and also give you the Simple Spawners buff which allows you to see and interact with spawners.

To remove the buff, die and respawn or use the command:
admincheat scriptcommand removessbuff

Press E on each spawner to adjust its settings:
- The creatures you want to spawn.
- Turn the spawner on or off.
- Size of the spawn volume around the spawner.
- Show the spawn radius volume.
- Minimum and maximum levels of creatures spawned.
- Option to set the creatures' levels to be incremented with the server's difficulty setting.
- Chance (0-100%) that creatures will spawn.
- Time between each respawn.
- # of creatures spawned per respawn.
- Chance (0-100%) that creatures will spawn as a claimable baby.
- Despawn time which despawns creatures a certain amount of time after being spawned.
- Set dinos spawned by this mod as Untameable.
- Set additional colors and chance they will get applied to the dinos spawned.
- Set Global Spawning options.
- Set time of day you'd like the dinos to spawn.
- Set a description of the spawner, visible below the spawner's name.

Hold E on each spawner to adjust its settings:
- Force a creature spawn.
- Destroy all creatures spawned by this mod's spawners.
- Count the # of creatures in the spawner's radius.
- Pick up the spawner.
- Turn ALL spawners of the same type on or off.
- Send a Force Spawn command to all spawners of the same type.
- Send a Destroy all dinos command to all spawners of the same type.

INI Settings:
RestartResetsTimers - When server is restarted, it forces a respawn and resets respawn timers.
ChestLevel - Sets level required to open Simple Spawners Treasure Chest.
CacheLevel - Sets level required to open Simple Spawners Treasure Chest Cache.
forceddelay - adds a delay in seconds before spawners will start spawning when server starts up.
clearoldeggs - if set to true will automatically clear all old fertilized eggs in nests on the server when it starts up.

Simple Spawners Gun

Fire - Sends command to spawner to Force Creature Spawn, or Destroy Creatures.
Reload key - Switches modes between Force Creature Spawn mode, Destroy Creatures mode, and Copy mode.
Toggle Attachment key - Shows Nearby Simple Spawners for 1 min. (If you are moving you will have to keep pressing this to show additional spawners that come into render distance)


SPAWNERS

Spawning Modded Creatures:
You can spawn ANY creatures you want, even modded creatures.
1) You must go into the spawner's menu.
2) Copy JUST the creatures path from the spawn code. Make sure you DON'T include "AdminCheat" "SpawnDino" or any spaces.
(You can use a ";" (without quotes) between each Blueprint to enter multiple creatures at once)

Example:
Blueprint'/Game/Mods/ClassicFlyers/Dinos/Phoenix/Phoenix_Character_BP.Phoenix_Character_BP'

3) Paste the code into the spawn code box using the keys: CTRL and V at the same time. Then click Add.
5) Select the creatures you want to spawn in the left column.

Creature Spawner:
Spawns all creatures.

Simple Spawner Nest:
Placeable Nest that will spawn eggs or babies of nearby creatures.
Spawns the eggs or babies of any random dinos near the nest. You can set the nest to spawn only certain dino eggs/babies by inputting their spawn code into the nest or scanning neaby dinos. Dinos will only spawn eggs if they have a "Fertilized Egg Class" so not all dinos can lay eggs.

Simple Spawner Loots:
Spawns in Beacons, Loot Crates, Artifacts, Orbital Supply Drops, or Element Veins.

Resource Spawner:
Spawns in harvestable trees, rocks, bushes, etc.

STRUCTURES

No Build Zone:
Place this to prevent anyone from building in an area. Area size is adjustable. Any structure that exists when this is placed down will not be affected. This may block resources from respawning.

Prevention Zone:
Has options to prevent the following within the zone: Flying, Grappling Hooks, Cryopod Deployment, Damage to Structures, PvP Damage to Players/Creatures.

Radiation Zone:
Place this to make an area radiated like Aberration's red zone.

Simple Spawners Oil Vein:
Placeable Oil Vein

Simple Spawners Water Vein:
Placeable Water Vein

Simple Spawners Gas Vein:
Placeable Aberration Gas Vein

Simple Spawners Charge Node:
Placeable Aberration Charge Node

Simple Spawners Plant Species Z:
Placeable Aberration Wild Plant Species Z

Simple Spawners Terminal:
Placeable Terminal that acts like an Obelisk Terminal.

Simple Spawners City Terminal:
Placeable City Terminal that acts like the City Terminal from Extinction.

Simple Spawners Creature Summoner:
Structure that allows players to summon creatures at the cost of items, fully configurable by admin.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Simple Spawners command doesnt work.

You may have to die and respawn, then try the command again.


Spawners go invisible after placing them down.

You must have the Simple Spawners buff, as admin, use the command:
admincheat scriptcommand simplespawners


I can't change spawner's settings or spawn them in?

Must be admin to place and interact with spawners, they must be admin spawned into the game, and they are not engrams.


The spawners aren't spawning by themselves or I am crashing in the Map.

Use the reset command:
admincheat scriptcommand resetsimplespawners


I'm playing single player and the spawners aren't working reliably or getting under/overspawns.

In most cases you have to add -preventhibernation to your steam game's launch options (google search this if you don't know how to do it.).


Creatures or bosses are acting weird or not spawning how I want them to.


Known issues that cannot be fixed by this mod:
- Some bosses are buggy, it's not the mod's fault, all it does is spawn them.
- Some event creatures that are currently not in the live game files cannot be spawned.
- Dinos that cannot be a baby, will always spawn as a regular adult even when the setting is at 100%.

if i have the tamable option checked in a spawner set to spawn normally un tameable creatures does it make them tamable via knock out tames? For example i checked tamable on a spawner set to spawn enforcers and scouts and now when i use the awesome spyglas on them it says there tamable via knock out tame which there not supposed to be . also if i dont set tamable on a spawner set to tame normally tamable creature does it then make them not tamable ?

If you uncheck the tameable checkbox will only make normally tameable creatures now not tameable. It doesn't work the other way around.

Hey, just wondering if you could explain me something real quick since I'm too dumb to figure it out. My mods' path is different than yours, so rather than "/Blueprints'/Game/Mods" it's "\ARK\ShooterGame\Content\Mods\". Because of this I'm a little confused on how I'd make the custom spawner work, since it didn't accept "\ARK\ShooterGame\Content\Mods\1565015734\Spider\SpiderS_Character_BP.uasset" (1565015734 is Kraken's Better Dinos mod, since steam likes to name mods as a bunch of numbers for every game). Please help, if you can!

"\ARK\ShooterGame\Content\Mods\1565015734\Spider\SpiderS_Character_BP.uasset"

is the actual file directory of the mod and file, but the game engine would see that as:

Game/Mods/(mod folder name)/(files or folders within that mod)

Example:
Blueprint'/Game/Mods/ClassicFlyers/Dinos/Phoenix/Phoenix_Character_BP.Phoenix_Character_BP'

You need to look at a mod's spawn codes and see what their mod folder is called which replaces the mod ID number when using a spawn code.

So i just found a spawn code for that mod:

Blueprint'/Game/Mods/BetterDinos/BetterLiopleurodon/Liop_Character_BP.Liop_Character_BP'

I even tried that before you said anything, BUT instead of "SpiderS_Character_BP.SpiderS_Character_BP" I typed "SpiderS_Character_BP.uasset" lmaooo

I wanted to know what the key would be to spawn these two dinos, because I tried and could not.

"Blueprint'/Game/Mods/Genesis/Dinosaurs/Spider/Uber/SpiderL_Character_BP-Uber2_GNS.SpiderL_Character_BP-Uber2_GNS'"

I saw this Water Veins and TP'd to them, i instantly got respawn screen and lost all my stuff??

I'm not sure why it did that, they are at 0,0,100000 which is outside of the playable map area which is why you lost your stuff. Just destroy them from the Map UI.
I have had only 1 other person report this issue happening to them, and it is also on valguero, have you placed any water veins yourself? and where at?

No I didn't placed any thats why I wanted to look where they at, so I lost all my stuff.. Maybe its some developing stuff.

"Copy Spawners Settings" does not copy the list of dinos on the Custom Simple Spawner. Is this intended?

Simple Spawners Gun

Custom Simple Spawner:

Spawns all non-amphibious marine creatures including alphas and Aberration marine creatures.

Wyvern Simple Spawner:
Spawns all varieties of wyverns.

Does this work with Classic Flyers or Naj's Speedy Flyers?

If you have the Classic Flyers or Naj's Speedy Flyers mods, these spawners will spawn those mod's version of each flyer.

To Show the phoenix on all maps add this into GameUserSettings:

a sever i play on the mod dosent work for them how do you fix it like how do you make the mod work .

I have a question. If I say were to block a modded creature (Small Dragons 2.0) from spawning because I didn't want them to spawn naturally (Incase they spawn near easier areas) Would I still be able to use this mod to spawn the creatures in despite me naturally blocking their spawns? I will find out personally anyways and update on my finding but I just wanted to ask that. I definetly intend to seek out a proper place where players can tame/fight them but will have to work for it.

@Vocal Tune: Yes, this can spawn any creature no matter if the natural spawners can spawn them or not.
