My fix was to make sure the speaker output was correct on the system, cause even though it was outputting correctly the chosen device was different.

My issue was wallpaper engine was muted in my volume mixer

Fix (for me at least):

Wallpaper Engine settings > General > Audio > change "Audio recording device" dropdown selection to whichever device works.

The issue might be because you're splitting the audio via cable/voicemeeter/etc.

INCREASE THE RECORDING VOLUME IN WALPAPER WNGINE >GENERAL>AUDIO>

Some songs just outright break it like Tokyo Machine - CHOMP

my fiks reload the walpaper and you do that to click a other 1 and change it back
