I was thinking it gravitates dropped weapons and destroyed building parts towards you, since it's a magnet.

Thats a great option, gravitates dropped weapons and building gibs towards you and enlarges your metal reserve

What do you guys think of this:
+can take manual control of sentry
+alt fire dropped weapons fly towards you and give metal
and it should have no - stats like pomson

Maybe it could fire a sort of electric charge at your sentry which buffs it more than the wrangler would (it could give things like a range, turn rate and damage buff) but you can't manually control it like the wrangler.

-%75 sentry shield when wrangling.
it can be a wangler skin also

wrangler reskin

I was thinking it could be eighter a wrangler reskin or
+On fire: Attracts metal and weapons to you
+On fire at sentry: Takes nearby metal and repairs sentry
-27% less damage dealt by Engineer

+While active, ammo is attracted to you and given as metal(Or ammo if full)
+Functions as normal wrangler
-Can't fire rockets
-Ammo attracted is divided by half, for example taking a weapon would only give 50 metal rather than 100

it should be able to scramble enemy sentries using ALT fire, if you are close enogh
can take manual control of yours

i would suggest that it's just a reskin. maybe some changes, like sapper immunity while controlling the sentry at the cost of a weaker shield (or something like that). Another suggestion would be some sort of auto-aim, also combined with a weaker shield.
but definitely not something to control enemy sentries.
