This is something new I'm going to start doing with every new skin, where I make a log detailing the design process behind the skin and where I justify some design choices.

Anyhow, this skin has been a pain to finish. This is actually the 3rd incarnation of the skin, and only now have I been happy with the result.

For the design, I wanted to go with something simple and geometric, in order to give it a sci-fiesque and geometric feel to it, fitting for a sci-f looking weapon.

The reason for the base color of the gun being all black is to draw attention to the patterns, which there's something I feel works with black patterns on a black body.

This 3rd incarnation took about a day to create, as getting everything to look right took most of that time.
