Co-op is buggy
This is a warning that co-op is buggy, and there really isn't anything I can do about it except remove co-op support entirely. I'm leaving it in for now so it is an option for people, but buggy stuff will happen. If I get annoyed enough with bug reports and complaints from co-op I will just remove it entirely.

Known things that happen in co-op and don't (usually) happen in SP:
- Civilian vehicles running over civilians and killing them
- Civilians killing civilians
- Enemies killing civilians
- Certain tasks and events going bonkers

Edit:
After more testing, im almost 100% certain that co-op just has different damage rules that I don't think I can work around. I rely on the base-game-logic for things like making sure civilian vehicles don't run over civilians and civilians don't trigger enemy mines. Those same rules don't seem to work the same way in co-op.

TLDR: More of "I really can't do anything about this issue, sorry"

I was actually just about to post a comment on this in the dev. area.

"Just going to throw what I've seen in testing of COOP vs SP in here with my opinion.

Through pretty much all of the 1.3 phase, the consistency of AI, mission events, unit abilities and other features has been comparitive. What would break in one, would often break in similar ways and frequency in the other. And your fixes for the issues were mostly equally noticable.

After spending all day today testing both modes in 1.4, the disparity has gotten to the point of nearly being 2 separate games. I'd warn players that coop is *mostly* functional, though considerably more difficult due to event inconsistency/bugs and civilians being able to die to each other."

And I was going to finish with suggesting dropping COOP support entirely in your future maps.

Edit: I'll also no longer be testing the mode.
