The Dragon's Curse Review
Mod Review: This mod has a lot of potential. It's the best dragon mod where you can be a dragon i've seen so far. When you get your dragon powers, you have the ability to customize your dragons look. You earn dragon breath when you first transform and after shouting as a dragon you only need to wait a few seconds for your power bar to be reloaded. Also, yes, you can fly, as well as use shouts/dragon breath while doing so.

However cool this may sound, the mod has quite a lot of flaws that really ruin the experience.

1: No quest markers on map. I suggest not doing the quest at all, despite it saying that the quest is recommended. It got very tedious using the CTRL, ALT, DELETE buttons to exit out of Skyrim just to figure out where the places you needed to go to on the [OFFICIAL] How To Use the Mod! thread. At one point I mistook the Ancients dragon lair place to be someplace totally different - near Windhelm, because I accidentally skipped ahead in the video linked on the thread. I ended up traveling all the way there for no reason.

2: Alga the Witch has no voice. It was so weird, looking at the text that Alga supposedly was saying. I always felt odd when talking to her. Then again, she is a witch, so maybe she can't talk normally because of a spell or something.

3: The quest itself. It was rather dull and uninteresting, and there is quite a bit of stuff left unanswered. Why did Alga want to turn the Dragonborn into a dragon? Why is she immortal? How was she sure that the note she sent would end up in the Dragonborn's hands? Was it a sheer coincidence, or did she use magic? Also, Alga's character seemed rather bland at times, but maybe that's just because she has no voice.

4. Dragon flight. It's highly bugged. While flying, you cannot hover and fly in one place in order to aim your fire breath/shouts at an enemy. Your wings do not flap unless you're get injured. You cannot move your head. Where ever you move your mouse you move forward which makes the controls really weird. Not only that, but also when you take off into flight you health goes down so much that you could pretty much be killed by anything in one hit, only you don't die because you heal constantly, but it's stuck at that low amount of health until you change into human again. Worst of all about flying is that you can literally fly through anything, nothing is solid. You can even fly right through High Hrothgar without a scratch if you really wanted to. Also, you can't land, you'll be stuck flying forever, and nothing can stop you because you can fly through anything.

Over all, the mod is decent. I did like the transformation from human to dragon, it looks awesome, and the dragon works good as long as you don't fly, but I suggest waiting until the mod is updated before downloading it, as you may just be disappointed. One thing I do like is the ability to customize your dragon to be a frost/forest/blood and more.

More info about the mod!:

A clean save means a save at a time where no mod was currently active in the game or in use by your character. If you have been using a mod in Skyrim at the very beginning since you first created your game, the Dragon's Curse might not work on any of your saves, even if you delete the mod you were using and went back to a save in a time when your character wasn't involved in the mod. In order for the Dragon's Curse mod to work, you'll need to create a new game. However, don't have the Dragon's Curse active when you first start because it will freeze your game. I suggest playing on the new game until you escape Helgen and enter Skyrim, and then activate/subscribe to it.

Can't wait for the updates, this mod is great! - RaptorFang the Reviewer
