Report a translation problem
Ah thanks for reminding me, I completely forgot I had left that book mark there. Originally Plus Ultra was supposed to extend the timeline to 1864, but I scrapped that Idea early on, just forgot to remove the code.
EDIT: For now I'm just going to say this issue is simply a problem with the base game, me and my friends have experienced the same thing in Vanilla Eu4.

There's an event called "heresey on the borders" or something to that effect that can cause switches to protestant before the religion is even enabled.
Napoleon rose up and passed the decision out of nowehere which made southern Italy become a vassal nation under France when it's been part of my empire for over 200 years. To further the issue I have a 10 year truce active with France. There was no war active with France at the moment when they passed the decision, the territory was not under occupation, is all my cores and entirely undisputed. Yet France is still able to steal the territory through that decision.
Do you have a save just before this happen? If so, could you send it to me?
