Advice on non backward compatible changes (like the recent removal)
Intro: first of all, many-many thanks for your modding efforts. Your mod is wonderful, real QOL mod, and saved me hours and hours of boring gameplay so far. Pleae take by no means the following as critique or negative feedback.

So Just an idea/advice on removal of items (like the recent removal of chem bench, fabricator) or making other non backward compatible change (like the replacement of wood burner to a technically different wood burner).
This used to be done in two steps.

First step: deprecate the items what you want to remove, indicating the item will be removed in a future update, and allow the users to prepare for the change.

In this case, I can imagine that you could remove/disable the engrams (so users cannot create such stations anymore) AND rename the station by adding some warning text (like "Arkomatic Chemistry Bench - will be removed soon" or something like that). So this way the users who has such stations already placed will see that such stations will go away

Second step: after a week or two grace period, create a new update where you actually remove those stations.

Optionally, make a huge visible note here in steam workshop in the description, telling the people about these kind of changes. Surely, lots of people don't check back regularly, so the ingame notification is still important, but surely some people will see it and prepares.

Again, hank you for your efforts, and the new station what you created indeed better and more useful in long term - just the transition was a bit shocking :)

Thanks for the message! Read the whole thing. I know the transition was horrible, very. But we all learn from our mistakes. This being a big one.

Just wanted to chime in and agree that discipline and practices that don't interfere with active worlds are much preferred but there is also a certain flow that each developer must go through in order to complete a project or revision. Considering this isn't a paid job or generally much appreciated by that majority of the players who's lives are enriched because of it, I just wouldn't call it a mistake even. Its great to see self discipline and growth but its not that big of a deal considering servers that use this will likely be wiping soon anyway if they haven't already. Please keep the development rolling Biggumzzz! Any way you need to
