Bug Reporting
This is a mod made by one person, that I am not paid for. That being the case, not everything is tested fully, so it's very likely there's some bugs (I fixed a fair few over days before release, but some probably slipped through). Luckily, once detected most bugs to events like these are easy to fix. Here’s a few common ones to look out for:

-Localisations missing: It will say something like “cc_events_mod.5” instead of a title or description or option or whatever. Just tell me what is shown. Also tell me what language you are playing in if not English, it is relevant (even if it is a language we don't have translations for yet).
-Localisation error: You might see events where there seem to be words missing. This happens if I messed up the coding, basically. Tell me what the title of the event is, and quote the sentence that is glitching.
-Typos: If anything is linguistically wrong, quote it to me and I’ll be suitably embarrassed and fix it :) (Same goes for the translations, except the bit about me being embarrassed).
-Graphical glitches with the event pics or modifiers: Unlikely to happen, but if you see something describe it to me.
-That doesn’t make sense: Catch-all category for events that fire at times that make no sense, or have effects that make no sense. Tell me why that is and I’ll see about correcting it. My conditions and stuff are quite complex, but one can always miss possibilities – this kind of thing is common in Vanilla, actually.
-Event X is annoying and keeps recurring: EU:IV has an event where you periodically see a comet and your empire loses stability. I hope I haven’t added anything quite as annoying, and they all have ‘cooldown periods’, but let me know if you see any too often or too easily.

I found only these two errors in the log file for this mod if this helps you

Thanks :) The first one was a genuine bug (forgot to add "namespace = unrest"), the second is compatibility with PRE (but I will make sure it doesn't show on the error log, I forgot to do that).

I've installed mod and nothing is happening(confirmed it has been installed with error logs). Can't even find Thought Police edicts or inter-species policy trees as well.

I'm playing as human with representative democracy. Ethics are Fanatic Xenophile and Fanatic egalitarianism. Also using State Of Lies mod and Dynamic Economics mod as well.

Thought Police is for fanatic authoritarians and a few others. Obviously you can't use it if you are an egalitarian democracy... Inter-species policy only becomes an issue once you get reasonable numbers of xeno pops in your empire, apart from that, well, events will happen depending on the situation.

Thx for fast reply. I've confirmed that mod is not dormant with authoritarian empire preset. I guess it will take some time to get political events? I'm at 2250 and got nothing so far.

Thank you for fantastic Potent Rebellions Expanded mod as well. You're filling my galaxy with so much life such as rivaling empire getting disbanded like soviet union!!!

Yeah many events I've added come when you end up having more species and ethics in the empire - for the first 30-50 years if you don't attack anyone you will probably only have your own species, and only your main ethics plus maybe one other.

Also, I'm looking to add more events. Ideally, the mod would have at least double the amount it has right now. Unfortunately, that takes time.

I got an event called: cc_colony_events.2.name
With three options to choose: cc_colony_events.2.A1 / cc_colony_events.2.A2 / cc_colony_events.2.B

By the way, this is a really cool mod. :)

I'd like to report a small bug. Doesn't seem to be affecting gameplay, but it's rather annoying. Two of my worlds are at the second stage of sepratist talks where they have the 200% bonus to, currently xenophilic, ethics. I get that same event notification every month. I haven't played enough beyond that to test this, but I really hope it's not refreshing some timer for that effect to go away. Every month I have to click on the "unfortunate" button to remove the pop up. Slows me down a tiny amount, just thought I'd let you know. I'm a fan of this mod otherwise!

@steadybomb: I just posted an update which may fix it, though I'm not sure and couldn't really test it easily, so if you are still in the stage where the event was popping up (or have a savegame which is), could you check and let me know?

I have a problem that's similar to steadybomb's. I keep getting the event "Luddites are smashing up robots on Planet X", it does not pop up every month but it seems to pop up around every two months. What's really annoying about it, is that it gives me dozens of this same event for the same planets and it seems to intensify in frequency each time the event appears again. I've spent 5 minutes clicking the "Ignore them- they will bow to progress, eventually." option this time, with 3 of my planets having around 40 to 50 "Luddite Movement" modifers now. Also, I'm not sure if this is suppose to happen, if I click the option "We can do without robots on Planet X", it starts to purge every robot in my country even if the Planet is unrelated to the event.

Ok found the bug causing the repeats. The wrong event was repeating, basically. I'll chec out the purging all robots.
