Issues with Versus: Bots unable to finish Finale
has anyone else had to deal with Bots not finishing Finales in Singleplayer Versus? for example, on Dead Center, teh bots just huddle around the Stock Car until they all die, none of them decide to go for Gas Cans. i can understand Dead Center's Finale being an issue, but then i tried Dark Carnival, and the bots all just huddle around in one spot where the Special Infected cannot attack them. usually, ill just get frustrated and exit the game before the bots die during a Finale; they arent gaining points sonce theyre just sitting on their asses the entire Finale, and ti just means that I'm almost set to win a match

will there ever be a fix, or am i just gonna have to deal with either Vote-Kick abusers or bots unable to finish Finales?

the reason they huddle because they can't pick up the gas cans they're not programmed too but that's why the option to take control is included with this mod so what i do is take control and do the finale while the holdout ones i just quick control start the finale and then switch back

so basically, you can switch teams temporarily to start the Finale? wish i had known about that...

but what about Dead Center's Finale? do you just have to swap teams entirely for the last chapter just so that the game can "finish"? :/

How does one switch teams when playing versus? I cant see an option to control infected when I browse through the radials. Is there something I'm missing?

I have the same problem but switching won't help when it is your turn to be infected. You can control whichever bot you want but there is no command to change back into the "spawn mode"

BTW in some finales the bots don't start it because they're looking for weapons, pills and stuff like that so if you see them walking around the map and not starting finale they are probably looking for stuff ;)

Yeah same probs here, but is there a way that they can be programmed to pick up bombs as well and use them when needed. Could they also be slowed down a bit to even look for supplies and not rush.
This is a very fun and cool mod and I belive that it can be improved to be better and a real challenge. Can the AI also be chosen for tank and not only the player.

There is a thing called "Versus single" on the workshop
its a versus singleplayer mutation
I saw some piece of code about a gas can
is versus singles mutation combined with this = goodness?

I was just on a game on No Mercy playing Versus and on the finale. The bots did activate the finale! But on other maps they were just running around.

How i play alone in versus (mostly no mercy) is just by typing "map c8m1_apartments versus" in the console then "sv_'something with lobby connect only 1' " and they are smart to do corenso events and the finale.

that doesn't follow the normal versus rule and everything in that is tilted toward the bots like them getting pills every so often hell the rounds don't even spawn medkits! they can see you no matter where and they aim like they have an aimbot (and not that normal kind of aimbot)!

i'll note this real quick

the bots can play the No Mercy campaing 100% from start to finish, i thought they would get stuck in the room where you need to open that shutter door but nope, after a while (and 2 bots left XD) bill pressed the button, AND they started the No Mercy final just fine :D

i killed them before the helicopter came though :D
