The Midnight Aristocracy Modification
The Midnight Aristocracy modification has been tested extensively by itself, and I do not have the time to test all other modifications for Warhammer II. So, If you know for sure a modification does work or does not work along-side "The Midnight Aristocracy", modification. Then please post it below, so I can add it to the Working list or the Conflicting list. Thank-you.

Known Office Problems
Playing as Isabella and saving the game and upon re-loading. Vlad and Isabella switch places in the office slots and placement. So, for now its best to play as Vlad and recruit Isabella as normal. This is also happening to other factions. Save games not storing office information correctly, and upon reloading leading to some lords being ejected from their designated office slot. This bug raised its head with the Vampire Coast dlc. No problems prior to this and is at the moment out of my control. Now, on a prolonged game, which I am currently testing. Isabella and Vlad switched back to their rightful places.

I'm wondering if this has something to do with either of them being wounded, or part of the bloodlines script, because technically, the vampires are not meant to have offices. So, bug hunting continues, but know it does right itself.

Some mods are reportedly causing some or all lords placed in offices to be returned to the office selection pool, but I suspect the bloodlines script to be the prime cause for this particular problem.

Known Influence Problems
Utterly broke.

Return to Options Menu
This has come to my attention from a few people, but I've never come across it myself while using the Midnight Aristocracy modification. At my best guess, it would be a corrupt savegame or a savegame that did have a mod enabled and then disabled, or removed.

Known Bloodline Problems
Unlocked bloodline lords via the bloodline UI and its script cannot seem to allow the bloodline lords to be able to occupy office slots. So, for now, I have allowed them to be fully recruited like normal lords to allow you to fill up your office slots.

Custom Battles
Custom battles and laboratory ctd has been fixed.

  • The constant "Does this work with SFO." question..
    In theory it should, but there may be an issue with the bloodkiss that's added via bloodlines script which can get out of whack and not work when additions are made to the tech tree in some cases, not all. So try it and see.

After Battle Crashes
After applying CA fix method,I am again fighting all battles manually. The fix by CA you can find here: https://forums.totalwar.com/discussion/212666/psa-crashing-in-tomb-kings#latest

I would recommend not deleting the "Data" folder part, though. But, just make sure all mods are unsubbed and disabled, then re-download my mod. Which, I have done. So, far so good for me. And again, make sure no "unknown" mods are listed in the modified.log.

Wishes
Lahmia - more hero action/cost reduction.
Necrarch - Banshee cost reduction, agent action or upkeep.

Hi do not know if this is outside of the scope but it would be cool to give the new factions thematic starting buffs bsp. hero action chanche for the silver host ? ghost cost reduction or buffs for the necerach brotherhood?

Hi. The Lahmian office perks are very lore friendly and they get vampire hero buffs. The Necrarch however, are a different story. There's really not much lore that I can find on them. So, I was actually toying with the idea of changing one of the osmosis corruptions, say on the necromancy college, to be something else. Perhaps. I can add this idea to this sticky and see how much traffic for or against it generates. :steamhappy:

hey thanks for the Answer but i think you do missunderstand my meaning when you start a campaign and want too choose a faction they start with a list of modifiers for the faction (bspw malekith gets Blackguards for cheap) . the offices for lahmia are great (mhm do not know if this is a bug from my mods bute the starting office for lahmia doesnt add a effect).

Do not know if this is wrong but didnt the necerach invent the summoning of Cairn Wraiths and Co?

Torsten, that lore would be something I would have to look into. I see what you mean now, starting faction traits. Hmm I've thought about changing them, but they do start off quite well.

Regarding the return to Options Menu:
I'm pretty sure it's because of the festag beta. If i try to load your mod on the live version i get thrown back to the menu. If i load it on the beta everything works fine.

Sorry for the late reply, but due to the complexity of both mods; it would be a major headache, but highly do-able, in my honest opinion. Time, however, is something I'm lacking currently to take on such a project, but I'm certainly not going to rule it out. :steamhappy:

is there anyplan on making this amazing mod to sfo compatibility ptach or submod? i cant play the vanilla game anymore coz imo sfo version is better overall but i also dont want to miss this amazing mod. please do look bout this. thank you for making this amzing mod!

Hi, Gorox.
There are no plans to make it compatible with anything else that are suggested as "not working". However, as far as I'm aware "sfo", is not a startpos modification and mine is. So, in theory it should work fine. Its something you will need to try, or that any conflicts are arising from something else you're using?

Three things I would love to see in this mod.
First, having the UI of the Empire for positions and where they govern.
Second, I would like to nominate either a Hero or a Lord, not just Lords.
Third, I would really like to have all of the different vampire faction positions added to the faction you are playing.

Okay, and hi. I'll have to break this down a bit to make it understandable.
The UI question, is doable if I understand you correctly, as in starting location on main front campaign character (LL) selection.

Secondly, heroes are not part of the offices pool as of yet, only lords. Can they be, I am not sure as I've never looked at that but its certainly something to ponder on for future updates, perhaps.

Third, You can only have around nine or ten at a very cramped or overlapping push of office coordinates and positioning. The names, and effects are as it seems, unlimited, but the space for offices you can put lords in is not. Hope this helps. :steamhappy:
