We need you
Do you know how to mod and have a great idea for the doomsday series? Than now is the perfect time. I know many of you have great ideas and want new content. But every new feature takes time. That’s why I’m looking for new people to help me.

This is how this works. You can create anything that fits the theme of the doomsday series. It can be only on event/unit or a whole event chain. These ideas can be made up or from a popular source (Novel, SCP). The only three things that are required are:

• No meme mods: I know meme mods can be fun, but for it does not fit the theme.
• “Realistic” approach to a theme: Like the main mods, it should feel like this event happened in the 1930. No crazy tech or so.
• New ideas: I know many of you have ideas for the zombie/leviathan mod. It’s just that I’m going to implement them myself and I think it would be a waste of time if I and another person worked on the same thing just to find out, that we both wrote the same.

But everything else is yours to choose. If you have any questions, write them in the comments or send me a message via steam or discord.

It would be nice for the zombies to be able to take over everything and should do so with no mercy. Somehow they grow intelligent and use convoys?

They can take over the world. They will spawn new units if they conquer certain countries. If they for example conquer Europe, they will spawn zombies in North America.

No, if they have been killed of no new zombies will spawn.

Hi.
Thank you. But the mod is already fully translated into German. But if you have suggestions or want to improve some stuff, we can definitely talk about it.

I havent made a sub-mod or posted any to the workshop (I mostly do mods for games that don't have workshop compatibility) and am wholly unfamiliar with HOI4 mods, but I am thinking of maybe making an exception for this one.

I might make something with gigantic airships (Perfect for dropping gigantic quantities of bombs onto the zombie hordes) or maybe something with more national focuses for other nations that are specifically to help fight them. Maybe, in a final defiant stand, the dutch will blow up literally everything stopping the ocean and let the Zombies be washed away.

Just need permission to work on something like it. I dont know how this sub-mod thing works

Yes, it is still being worked on. Whatever version you prefer. The redux version has some stuff like zombies landing at random states which some prefer and others don't.

Honestly would be cool if you could enable all nations to have a ZCOM tech tree that any country can research zed specific technologies. That way in multiplayer you can have multiple nations contributing specifically to the anti-zed initiative in their own ways as well and in singleplayer you wouldn't be limited to having to play Zcom itself for a more involved experience.
