Setting priority to different structures for power supply
Is there a way to do this?

Say a solar flare hits. Reactor SCRAMs. All the batteries drop down to 0%. You have a few geothermal, wind, and solar power supplies...

...but all the power goes to lights, heaters, and anything and everything else except for the core things you actually NEED the power to go to, namely:

Reactor Core
Reactor Console
Turbine
Cooling Tower
Power Transformer

With these powered, everything becomes powered. I checked the other guides for "setting power preferences" but there's nothing out there because nothing runs on the power scale that Rimatomics affords.

Get Rimefeller, setup emergency batteries, and have inffrastructure in place to bail you out.
Smart planning helps you out.

You can also keep the Nuclear Facility in a completely separate power loop, which can save you significant hassle.

Good golly I've been playing this game until 3am for so long that the thought of simply making a switch to separate power to my reactor never occurred to me.

reactor re-startups are one of the most interesting puzzles i think. especially if you have let all your batterys die out ....

Not if you have an infinite power supply XD Or just a chemfuel generator.
