AI and mulitplayer problems
I've noticed a few problems with the Seperatist and Republic factions in this mod and didn't see anyone else talking about it. So I thought I'd make this to see if anyone else has the same issue and to possibly bring these problems to the attention of the mod creator.

1# Ground AI: The Seperatist and Republic AI in ground battles is broken. They will send out starter units, but will not build any new units, mining facilites, or turrets. The closest thing I go to it functioning properly was near the end of a game, when I was attacking the Sep base, the ai suddenly dropped in a bunch of Sith and Droidekas.

#2 Multiplayer Prequel factions: Some people and I tried to do a space battle playing as the Republic and Seperatists, but every time we tried to ready up, the chat box would display a message saying "All players must be on a team." or something along those lines. (will edit this and place the whole message we got. Forgot what it all said)

Yeah the ground ai is broken for them, they won't build any structures on planets at all or turrets.

The same thing happens for me in both cases. Hopefully it gets fixed because I really enjoy this mod.

The first problem is a very simple fix you need to take the AI folder from the mod and place it into the XML folder of the FOC data folder, then take the scripts folder from the mod and put it in the FOC Data folder and set your AI to Hard and the AI should work now.

As for your second problem that isn't something with the mod, this new update messed up something with custom factions because they are coded after empire so Multiplayer thinks it's the Empire and not the CIS or Republic.

speaking of problems, the Ai for empire (ground ai is all i have tested at the time of writing) is ♥♥♥♥, not in the way of being broken but instead by being WAY TO ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ AGGRESIVE AND SO ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ POWERFUL! i get the empire is strong and all but when im on EASY difficulty just so i can test ♥♥♥♥ out, they spawn a number of units that i dont think the game is able to process none-the-less give Me the ability to use.not to mention the fact most maps allow blind spots on the Best of strategies and i have a 1 min long game before they send 4 heroes 30 squads 16 vehicles of varying tiers, and atleast one Uber unit (something so powerful its above normal hero teir) by the time i own 1 control point they have a 200 Pop army and swarming my little 30 pop task force taking the whole map in a minute, which only furthers their insaine economy rate and then annihalates me. any thoughts? i played Mandalorian btw, they are also kinda glitchy and use loads of constorium stuff (i wish they had just kept consortium and added to it) and while most of their starter units are bad their tier 2-3 units are no slouch and seem like they are putting some Serious firepower down range, it does ♥♥♥♥ all. And of course they (and sepies) also have no Uber tier whilst empire, rebels, and reublic have Multiple. and to top it all off this seems blatently unfinished, to a point where while Many things seem good (the depth of what the republic have is epic) the things like ♥♥♥♥ mandalorians in general, Horrendously aggresive and stupidly cheating broken ai of empire, the general inability to do anything of sepratists ai, i honestly cant brinng myself to fully reccomend this mod. it is fun and if you play with friend its probably better, but even then the imbalances and general unfinished game aspects are just. Bad for lack of a better term.
dont count me a hater though cuz i still love this mod and i do hope it gets fixed.

How much time will you guys take to resolve this problem? I mean, of course it's not your fault, but we want to play clones and CIS :P

That isn't a problem with my mod it's caused by the base game and the lastest update they put out for the game.

Thats because the AI cheats, it quite literally cheats. The difficulty levels give them a bonus income that can't be changed, and it can come to a point of pure rediculous nature. Medium difficulty alone is enough to force any decent EAW player to lose, requiring you to have another AI of the same difficulty on your team to keep yourself alive. It sucks.

i wish it gets better with years, but really, as much as peopple Praise their intelegent AI that "doesn't need the cheap tricks other AI is programmed around" it still does. i will even go so far as to say it is WORSE recently, because you can see just how Little it has improved. while the game gets more complex more Multi-tasking micros, macros. the AI can do all of it and more, simply do more than the human player is Allowed to do none-the-less is even Capable of doing what the ai is, multiple commands, double income, hyper speed building progress. the list goes on and on for years. its just Sad mainly.

Yet this is something that has been in this game since the beginning. It was never added in a update, it was like that in the base retail game when it first released. Its mainly because the AI is horrid when on a equal ground with a player, it just doesn't cut it.

yea but i play other mods with easy AI, its just fine, this mod though the empire is Stupidly aggressive and Way to quick to insant cap the whole map.

well for now i have try easy , medium in every factions to see if have bug , and see if every load work , so far nothing now ill go has the creatr suggest put everything at high , cause seem the mod was also made for that purpuse

From a developer to another developer. This is your mod which you dedicate your time to create, for us to enjoy, however your mod depends on the base game to function. When the base game changes and it breaks certain things in your mod, sure its reasonable to say the base game changes broke this function in the mod. But to say that It worked before the update therefore the problem isn't with the mod but the base game is an issue.

The mod multiplayer is currently broken as all factions cannot be played. Base game multiplayer works just fine therefore something mod side has to change to get this working again. I am currently investigating what this could be I'll let you know in this thread if I find anything.

A fix was just released it was small error i did when i was trying to fix something in the infantry code.
