i changed 'val_upgradeslots=1' to 'val_upgradeslots=5' but it does not working at all.
can you check this?
I'm not sure if 5 upgrade slots are possible in XCOM 2. Isn't the max like 4? It might be possible, but I'm not entirely sure. However I do suggest checking to see if you changed anything else by accident. Check to see if you're saving to the correct file/path, or if the filename has been changed in anyway. It's usually the smallest altercations that cause problems. Even an extra space in some place where it doesn't belong can cause problems.
The game does indeed support 5 slots. I think maybe even more. I have changed the slots to 5 myself. Yet for some reason the Reaper variant still only has one slot. I really want to use the VSS on my Reapers, but not without the extra slots. Is there any way you can fix this?
Pushing a quick update in a bit to allow players to change upgrade slots for the reaper variant. It should work in theory, so if anything else arises please do let me know.
