Thralls being visible at the station when idle and customize-able- check

Religious stations- thinking about giving arch priests a recipe to allow them to get the conscripts to havest their chosen religious item

Potted plants- check

Is there a plan to have the ability to pick up potted plants and move them to a different location?

I thought they were... i am hopefully putting an update out tonight or tomorrow. I will double check them to make sure they can be returned to inventory.

any thoughts on thralls giving extra mats etc when you burn foods made from the stove?

Edit- also thoughts on being able to change thrall gender in the post?

I think fuel just allows you to turn on a station I'm not sure it would effect the result of a recipe would be cool if it does I will investigate that.

I am hoping to figure out how to transfer thrall data to the conscript item then have it transferred to the station so the thralls at the station look like the thralls you converted to conscripts with the exception of wearing the appropriate armor for their station that is

I think there is some logical gap: you can not grow banana trees in pots because they are trees, not just plants; thralls can not gather ferns and berries and aloe vera because thralls work with trees, not plants; but thralls can not chop banana trees like any other tree! I think that reapers would chop banana trees as well because it's so boring to run about looking for them.

Banana trees aren't grown with this mod. To get plant fiber you plant ferns. The conscripts don't gather anything you can grow. Why waste resources to repair their gear or feed them to collect something you can get for free?

Today I went to the North and gathered Ice from Ice deposits looking like huge crystals. You know, I got 12 Black Ice, about 1 Black Ice for every 100 ordinary Ices. It can be a good idea to add 1 Black Ice to every stack of ordinary Ice in the Stalker Station I think.

Cool. I was hoping they would make black ice a little easier to come by. I'll look into this :-)

It looks like you've just ruined horticulture, namely potted plants. Just think of it: soil is consumable now. 1 soil for 1 berry or plant fiber or anything. To make 15 soil you must have 10 plant fibers AND 20 dry fiber! I am 23 level now, I have no sickle and no dryer until 37-40. It took a lot of time to gather 100 dry fiber to make soil box... it's about 1 dry fiber for 10 raw ones it seems. And all I got from the fern pot - 15 plant fibers for all this. Or 15 of those fancy bugs that give red dye. But you can gather them in a minute from wild cacti. No use of planting anything that is growing near your base at all! Maybe it will be reasonable to grow desert plants in the North... I don't know, it's too early for me to think about North. I'm VERY upset. Would you think about changing this ratio: maybe 5-10 berries/fibers/bugs/etc. for one soil? Or maybe increase drop of this dry fiber, or make it appear in planters together with main plants? Something is to be done to it.

Talking about Conscripts... We can make conscripts posts too early now. Repair kit for Wardens is level 24, not 20 (?) as Warden post itself. So are the Reapers. So they will just stand waving their hands uselessly for a long time until you learn those repair kits.

I was just playing from level 1 to test. i agree with you about the horticulture balance. I was not thinking like a new player but someone who is already max. how does 6 dry 4 plant and 1 water to get 10 soil sound? My intention is to free up player time from gathering not make it harder. i am open to any and all balancing ideas. changing recipe amounts is easy enough.

The question is that it's too hard to get dry material when you don't have dryer. Maybe it'll make sense to grow this dry matter in fern planters instead of some seeds? Imagine that ferns give 10 fiber for maybe 5 fiber converted into soil AND 10 dry matter for 5 dry matter converted into soil (and some seeds too). So two ferns could give us enough material for two of them and one other planter, and some extra fiber for our other needs.

I see what you are saying here... I should be able to do some thing i think.

@ladycat65, on the next update dry plant material will be added to the spawn list of planters and gardens. Planters will see a little extra plant fiber and dry plant material no matter what you plant. Gardens will produce slightly more. However, I got the idea to have both types of berries and the prickly pears rot into dry plant material (currently they just disappear when their timer is up) this should allow you to have plants that can keep your garden growing and satisfies my wish to incorporate the fruits into the compost 😊
