Matrix
Was it redone in Vox Populi?
In Returns and Dragonfall i wasnt really into decking, to me it was just doing the same combat as i was doing in the real world. But in Hong Kong i liked it a lot, being able to sneak past security measures made me actually feel like a sneaky hacker.

It's a blend of both DFDC style and HK.

It has some watcher IC, some blocker IC, some more like DFDC. It's built (mostly) with HK assets though.

I love (love!) the Matrix implementation in this mod (amongst other things).

I was particularly impressed with the intentionally glitchy node in the airport in Paco's questline. It's such a simple touch but it's very effective, and just one example of the depth of thought that's gone into this mod.

Stunning work throughout, and much, much, better than the original DMS.

I love this UGC, it's simply wonderful - thank you so much for making it.

Really glad you enjoyed them! Mantaining the original feel of the game with the advanced mechaincs of the later game engines was our primary goal. I rebuilt some of the lesser matrix scenes (and the telestrian ones) and my good buddy Wave.Of.Atla did the other ones. (Including the airport, and the beautiful Lonestar nodes)

Even though he actually hates the matrix systems, he wrote Response Time (here in the HK workshop) and was the Mastermind behind the LTG in our Mercurial UGC.

It means a lot to us that you felt strongly enough to comment... So an extra thank you for that!
