Get Hamachi. IT WORKS look it up on youtube. There are plenty of videos that explain how to fix this/

or open your ports the way servers wer supposed to work

use the internet to find a awnser an use sites that u know are 100% true like wikapedia

1. This has nothing to do with the addon!
2. Either make a Dedicated server or a P2P Server (Peer to Peer server. its also easier to use instead of dedicated but dedicated has more customizable features)
3. also make sure to port forward your dedicated server if you wish to have that. (and you have to do alot more then only port forwarding)
4. let your friend make a P2P Server if it still doesnt work.
5. Remove any addons conflicting with other addons if you get errors when you spawn in. (Nothing to do with a network, but if you get errors then it should be good to remove addons)
5.5 Use the steam workshop to remove addons (Because Gmod doesnt remove that fully on)
6. THATS BASICLY IT!

Yea, but you can't make every addon compatible with eachother. if it was possible, gmod wouldn't be from a mod or hell, even made using source engine.
