the flag for Dominion of America changes to black if liberals win the election, and the troop flags go random

@Doom Guy We haven't put the flags for Liberals in yet. It's not top priority atm since we're reworking the map right now. The update for it should be out by October 20th.

I'd suggest major changes to japan as it is unlikely they'd be able to do much expanding or modernizing if America didn't force them to open the country. Probably give Russia most of their mainland colonies.
