swimming animals - map edges

there is a swimming mod that makes swimming possible and i was trying to add swimming speed as a stat to some of the various sea creatures; "walrus" for example can swim well and can be made slower on land. "dragonfly" can be made same speed cause it can hover on the water then.
The issue i am having is that raiders and visitors ect can come in from a map edge that has 4% move speed deep water.
is there a way to stop this but still allow sea animals (manhunter packs ect) to arrive on map edges?

judging from how the game spawns events and things, you'd have to spawn deep water impassable terrain for humans to stop raiders from arriving on the edges containing deepwater. I don't know if you have, but I'd ask around in Swimming Kit, as raiders spawning in deepwater probably isn't that uncommon for people who have that mod.
