Now I'm not really a coder, so I can't give you a code, But What I would think would be awesome is that if you don't get damaged or shoot for a while, the names and percent/amount of ammo will slowly fade so you will only see the bars.

no actually it doesnt it just doesnt work with the new garrys mod format

Just a small idea... but, why not try getting the Time Splitters Hud? It'll surely add Nostalgic value to gmod... Here's an image if you want to see what it is:

The bar on the left is Health, and the bar on the right is Armor.
As for ammo, look at the bottom right. You can format this to whatever. Like:
AMMOLEFT/AMMOREMAINING
Or...

That bar beside the primary ammo count is exclusive to that gun and shouldn't be added, as it shows if it over heats.

can u try to make the hud from The Amazing Spider-Man 2 the game (i know as far as i aware the hud doesnt have ammo capacity nor armor capacity but u could add your own designs for it)
