Remote Control Cars

Descrizione
A fun little toy I created using the new Scripting Buttons feature, along with a small race track to try it out. Tint the car the colour of the player that wants to control it.

By default, each Scripting Button is assigned to keys on the NumPad.

Button 8 is forwards,
Button 5 is backwards,
Button 4 is left,
Button 6 is right.

If you'd like to make a countdown, lock the cars in their ready position and set the clock to the countdown number. When it reaches zero, the script will automatically unlock all the cars so that all players start at the same time.

____________

Credit goes to francobaldo1 for the car model. :)

It seems like my game fails to load in the model and/or the scripting, everything else works fine (I can even load it under a different model but then it still won't move), any idea what I could do about this?

Is there any way I can make cars of my own using the same script, just with a different model? I can get the gist of attaching the camera, but not able to control the cars outside of turning left or right with them once I do this.

Works perfectly as advertised. Thank you so much. Do I have permission to use this car in a workshop item of my own? I want to use it as one step in a rube goldberg machine I have planned out.

@ZenyphL that's not the only reason. For some reason the car isn't detecting some custom tables as "Ground", in which case floor detection has to be disabled for the cars to run. Take lallander's large hexagon table for example.

i've discovered why many people have problems with racing workshops: you MUST set physics to FULL, anything else doesn't work, if you add that to your instructions ratings gonna improve, cheers and thank you for doing this script, you deserve much more then 3 stars
