This mod checks the player's inventory when the session starts and if it finds a normal version of the tools (like the Welder, the Grinder, etc) it will remove it and replace it with the elite version of the tool.

I wrote this mod because of the annoying issue that the inventory is not kept in multiplayer. We got a bit tired of remaking the elite tools every single time there is a crash or a disconnect (and we of course keep forgetting to put the elite tools neatly away).

Might be a bit OP if enabled on a brand new server, since everyone will start with elite tools even without having done anything, but in this case it might be smart to add the mod a bit later, when the server has been running for a bit.

It´s really annoying that the character is not saved , even it is an entity like a ship ;( A Configurable List of items would be nice to have, so i can prepare a spawnkit Some H2 O2 Bottles or other inv. items.

I haven't played in a long while and I'm certain they changed a lot, so I'm not surprised it's not working anymore. Wish I had more time to see if I could fix things.

So I have added the mod to my server but don't see the elite tools spawning it's always the same default T1. I even tried getting the elite on my inventory and killing myself and still spawning with the normal ones

Hi there, I am working on hand weapons mod. I would like to do something similar to what you have here regarding having characters spawn in with different items. I Would like to edit your mod to make that happen! I would credit you in the mod as well. Please let me know if thats ok.

Ah I guess they changed something again then. Unfortunately that's a common thing. Might look into that and see if I can do anything about it. But can't promise as I'm quite swamped.

This mod doesn't work for steam multi. Only the host ever gets the elite tools and all other player don't. don't get me wrong love the mod, but a bit annoying to have to go into creative mode and spawn in elite tools for other players if we use this mod.
