描述

Fixes the missing footsteps on forest terrains, notably Valtatie 5 and Thirsk. The fix is generic so it should work on any terrain where the footsteps are broken in the same way.

If you need footsteps on Winter terrains, check out Footstep Sound Fix - Thirsk Winter and Footstep Sound Fix - Chernarus Winter. These will fix the snow footsteps on their respective terrains and any that depend on those terrains for footsteps.*

If you like this mod, check out my Pond Remover mod.

*Why the split? The footsteps on winter terrains are broken slightly differently, and this is the smartest way I could think of handling it for the moment.

Thanks for the reply Spain, I will hope the map maker gets the foot steps and dust effects situated =). Maybe I'll try your fix out anyway for now.

I think it would be better to try and help him get footsteps working on the map, that way everyone will get the fixed footsteps. I try to only fix really old maps with my mod where the author will not fix it anymore, so my mod is more like a last resort. If the map was just released then we can probably help him fix it :)

Spain, would this fix work on this map https://forums.bistudio.com/forums/topic/205363-terrain-gos-ndjenahoud/ ? The map maker just released it and it is a really nice Desert - all ARMA 3 asset- map but he failed to add dust and footstep sounds. =(
