Transparent Selectors

Opis
Makes selectors transparent, adjustable opacity slider in mod settings.

Useful for detailers, works with Move It and Prop Line Tool.


Update 1: Construction cost tooltips fade out as well.

Update 2: More control over cost tooltips.


I came up with this idea when making screenshots for the curbs props, the selector circle gets in the way when detailing. I was reminded of this when watching PugGaming's nascar build, where these selectors clearly got in the way when detailing.


Thanks to TPB for making most of the mod.


Known issues:
Waits for loading manager to report that all mods have been loaded. So if ploppable asphalt or theme decals doesn't work for you, this won't work as well. It's most likely some other mod preventing loading manager from working properly. The only mod I've seen doing this is an ARIS/Skylines Overwatch mod.

I got this to hide the tooltips box. Which it does. It works during the game selectors. Roads, Props, Buildings. But not with "Move It".

Since the new patch did not change the mechanism of picking, the selector also did not change. It works just fine for me. It should be other mod interference or outdated mod versions. Looking for mods in a stable combination? Check modlist compatible with the latest software version (Hubs & Transport patch (1.16.1 f2)

Transparent Selectors is fully compatible with Plazas & Promenades DLC.
Please follow the Plazas & Promenades DLC Compatible modlist.

Hey men, i get so annoyed from the tooltip "Construction cost".... this was blocking all the time my measurement. Thanks for the mod!!! I am realy happy to all what i see from now on :)

I am a permanent subscriber of Toggle it and TS along with Move it! I am happy with the level of transparency and I can change it.

You are right: if you unsubscribe from TS, the blue color around the building/network has to be solid.

@StayHungryStayFoolish I have the original Move it, and the mod I'm subscribed to doesn't have any option to change the selection transparency. I unscripted the TS and when I opened the game the selection lines were solid with no transparency option. I believe you can see transparency because you are subscribed to TS, if you unsubscribe, the selection will be solid again. If Move It or Toggle iT has a setting to change the selection transparency, let me know where it is because I can't find it.

@Nucity You say: "there is no Toggle It setting that interferes with the transparency of the selection." You are right Toggle it! mod removed the tool color setup for Move it in version 1.8, I did not follow that.

I still have no problem with Toggle it, and I use the same time Transparent Selector and it has a pretty nice color, not too bright, but visible, I like it. I could not reproduce your case.

@StayHungryStayFoolish there is no Toggle It setting that interferes with the transparency of the selection. I only mentioned this mod because it was the only one that updated before the problem started, so I believe it's TI, but it could be something else.
