This mod component makes a number of changes to the base game districts, revamps the trade system based on districts, and adds adds 25+ new districts to the game: 14 generically available districts, and an ever-increasing number of Unique Districts available to one or more civilizations.

-Trade Changes: all districts now have a COST and a PRODUCT for trade going both ways. Generally speaking, a district will try to sell whatever it makes on both incoming and outgoing routes. Please see the "Trade Routes" post in the discussion section of this page for more detailed information.

-14 New Districts: Butchers' Quarter, Millers' Quarter, Fishery, Masons' Quarter, Smiths' Quarter, Forestry Quarter. Cantina Quarter, Cullinary Quarter, Textiles Quarter, Jewelers' Quarter, Government Center, Medical Center, Boardwalk, Naval Base. Please see the "New Districts" post in the discussion section of this page for more detailed information.

-12 New Unique Districts: American Air Force Base, Australian Waterfront, Aztec Ceremonial Center, Chinese Silk Filature, Egyptian Nome, English Stannary, French Marche, Indian Gaushala, Japanese Zenso-Chi, Norwegian Gord, Spanish Plaza, Sumerian Eanna

~60+ new buildings, including buildings for (almost) all of the new districts, with unique abilities and icons. And more on the way



FAQ

1. Does this mod require any DLC?

Yes. This mod component requires the Aztec DLC to be downloaded and enabled.

2. Is this mod compatible with other mods?

Yes, it should be, generally speaking. Of course there are always exceptions. Notably, this mod should not be run alongside my larger modpacks, which already contain it!

3. Why aren't there any new art assets?

Mainly because I am not an artist! I am a coder and designer, and believe me, doing that fills up my time just fine without me trying my hand at textures and 3D models. I do however work with a few very talented artists, who are slowly making their way through a bunch of different projects. If this one hasn't gotten attention it's probably because it's just not as high a priority as other projects on the agenda. Rest assured, it is eventually intended that all new assets will have correspondingly new art.

4. Can I re-use part or all of this component in my mod?

Figure out the problems form the latest patch. The way trade works was changed and had one other problem, all are easy fixes if you are willing to do it yourself. You can message me to get further details of what to do
